client want a line logo with extra twist
BRIEF
Looking for a hand drawn logo for Orange Sneakers, a wireless ISP. Square with the words 'Orange Sneakers' in it. Orange background with cutout lettering (or white lettering). Can be used like a chinese chop or used as a stamp...something that could be printed in either orange or white too. Think Zen-like aesthetic, authentic, spontaneous, funny, whimsical, mirth.
PROCESS

as in the brief i understand the zen minimalist style, i just cant mix the next like spontaneous funny whimsical and mirth element in zen minimalist style. coz i think that zen minimalist present calm and stable as the other requirement not
heres the draft design. cant wait for the result
logo, i create square as a space and fill the zen minimalist type below in two lines and add the orange in center as other factor that you might require.
it is actually stiff but. i made it that way as isp company always sells its reability in connection which simbolize in square and stiffness
logo, i refer it to orange operator logo, but in line design
same as first logo but it is not in perfect square to eliminate too much free space inside the square
but i made a tower and signal at the A.
it is playful and cheerfull. square and signal inside
REVISION
I was hoping for something hand drawn...something similar to the attached logo which I made myself but without the white boarder and a font that hand drawn too. Forget that is for a wireless ISP too...I need something more generic.
MODIFIED WORKS
in the attachment as you see the "orange" word is bigger than "sneaker". it because you increase the point to match its wide
but i dont, i only increase its kerning (space between types) so the size of the type still similar
well heres the modified work
logo as in the attachment. this is a soft pen strike also in soft curve
still like penstroke but this is more rough style and pointy edges
i thought previous two are tall in proporsion. this is more balance height and wide. also curvy
extra experiment, maybe small caps works for you as well

i dont know what is the purpose of the logo. the client just tell me to redesign the logo the way she wants.
i do what she needs. and i give extra works to give an alternative

PROCESS
It is actually a simple task. just recreate the logo and do what the client told me. and after i doing so i just feel guilty, i mean i am paid for creating a good logo for the client, not just grab some ideas from some else and do fix it. so without the client ask. i create another one as i like it better that way whether the client like it or not
so, what i need to create the banner just the way client ask. and i realize it is not the heart that is wrong in this design. the type is wrong, the horn too. what is that ? i mean the design doesn't match with the name. design is a nuance. we create logo that capture the nuance of the name of the logo.
so i think it doesn't need the mature type, it just need a girly handwriting type to match the name and design.
i pick a handwriting type, a bold one so it may look enough mature and more sophisticated, but can represent the charmer itself. the last design has a bad texture i mean the contrast just too high and ugly, so i change it with better texture
and, so i prefer to make another alternative for client to consider.i just trow away the banner change it with type decoration. so it will have same effect as with or without banner.
the main different just at the caps and lower type, and the first design they are separated brush, the second using a brush-connect type.
i dont know yet, the client love it or not, or which design the client like it better,

You Little Charmer
Dark Side of The Sun is a logo i just made to fill my gallery at handmade aesthetic logo service in fiverr. i dont know i just want to make it.
BRIEF
i want to make a logo that different with dejay before. something fluid but also dark. that shows logo resemble things like made by hand.
PROCESS
to get fluid result, someone might make a design by hand, or just drop some ink on piece a paper and scan it later. then trace it on computer. but im my self dont do that. it just impractical. so i just make a straight perfect computer. in this case i just make a 8 point star.
so i abuse the perfect design by bending the line by mouse. an as i expected design look fluid i just need give it some texture to get it done. later i realize that this is a bullshit. hahah
directly i got an inspiration and interpret the design as a sun. a ray-less sun, black dark sun. give the design inside type says "the dark side of the sun"
its like a symbol that represent the dark side of every one that shine out there. or some company that examine the flaws of any business. i don't know. damn

Dejay is a logo for individual as his identity in world of gaming.
a solid, firm logo that define himself as hardcore gamer and also as a game security consultant
BRIEF
the client needs a hardcore logo, a gamer logo, something he can use as a symbol for himself as a gamer and for his service in game security consultant.
PROCESS
when i get the email, i directly read the brief, although i do disappoint because the brief was so minimum but, i get the point. so i do some research just to see how a hardcore gamer logo looks like. since this is amateur service the research was based on google search.
then i find out theres no common sense of hardcore gamer logo. so i build the logo using a goth type give it a hardcore theme, i know it wouldn't stand out that way, the twist is on overall shape of the type. i resemble the type to form a game controller to define this as a gamer logo not some hardcore band.
i also explain to the client about security. i say security isn't always some form of umbrella or a shield or any form of symbol that represent "protect" terms. security it also may be present as symbol to scare some hackers. so instead using common "protect" symbol, dejay better be a bad ass gamer that runs a game security service that scare cheater on online games. (logo as the tool to create the branding, look at the batman)

the client, appreciate the logo, and ask it in white colour to create sense that he is a some kind of white hacker. and yes i agree.
